The 2026 Players Era brackets were revealed yesterday, with 24 teams set to compete in two different fields from November 17-28.

In the Players Era 8 field, teams will play three games beginning November 17, with the championship taking place on November 19. Florida and West Virginia are making their first appearances in the tournament. The Mountaineers will face Auburn in a matchup of two teams that won their postseason tournaments last season.
In the Players Era 16 field, the action begins with eight games on Thanksgiving Day. Each team will play three games, with the two remaining undefeated teams playing a fourth game for the title on November 28. Defending champion Michigan headlines the 16-team field and will try to repeat last year's dominant performance. The Wolverines beat San Diego State by 40, Auburn by 30 and Gonzaga by 40 on their way to the title.
In total, 13 teams who participated in last year's NCAA Tournament make up the Players Era field. Tournament participants are a combined 55-25 in the NCAA Tournament over the last two seasons -including the last two national champions. All 37 games will be broadcast on ESPN networks, with broadcast information and tip times to be released at a later date.
