It was a pretty good weekend if you're a Villanova fan.
First, Kevin Willard landed one of the best big men left on the board in 19-year-old Italian Luigi Suigo. Suigo measured 7'4", 289 pounds at the NBA Combine, and will be considered one of the top prospects in the 2027 draft with a productive year in the Big East. Perhaps the coolest part for Suigo is that his Villanova debut will be in Rome against Notre Dame.

Then, on Saturday night, Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, and Josh Hart became the first trio of teammates to win both an NCAA title and an NBA title together. The Knicks mounted another double-digit comeback to finish the gentleman's sweep of San Antonio.

Everything is coming up Nova in 2026.
A trio of Big Ten teams landed commitments in the 2027 class.
Four-star Jack Kohnen committed to Iowa State. The 6'6" small forward picked the Cyclones over Iowa and Nebraska. TJ Otzelberger continues to do his work early and often, landing his third top-50 commitment in the 2027 class already (Donovan Davis and Josiah Harrington).
6'10" forward Keller Daugherty committed to Iowa. The three-star prospect is the first pledge of the 2027 class for Ben McCollum, who is looking to build momentum on the recruiting trail after an Elite Eight run in his first season.
7'1" center Jack Thelen committed to Wisconsin. It's the second 2027 commitment for Greg Gard, with Jalen Brown announcing earlier this month. Thelen is teammates with Baboucarr Ann, another high-priority target for the Badgers.
Other notable commitments: Juwan Ekanga (France) to Gonzaga | Curtis Williams (Tulane) to High Point
In scheduling news, Arizona will play St. John's in the Hall of Fame Series at Madison Square Garden on December 5. The matchup features the last two Naismith Coaches of the Year. A return game will be played in Phoenix in 2027.
