Mark Mitchell, Seth Trimble, and a handful of others are ineligible...again.

Kentucky's Court of Appeals dissolved the injunction that allowed Class of 2022 athletes to play, meaning Mitchell, Trimble, Fred King, Collin Porter, and Skyy Clark, among others, are no longer eligible.

The development isn't a final ruling, but it adds to growing uncertainty around 5-in-5 players' eligibility as a whole. A new hearing in that case is expected sometime this week.

In Ohio, the First District Court of Appeals reversed the original preliminary injunction, meaning Filip Borovicanin, MJ Collins, Javon Bennett, and others are still ineligible.

Meanwhile, Keyshawn Hall was granted a TRO in New York, making him eligible to play for St. John's...for now.

Melvin Council Jr., who was also recently granted a TRO in New York, announced he is returning to Kansas for what will be his sixth season of college basketball.

Basket Under Review

A pair of five-star recruits came off the board yesterday.

Jordan Page announced his commitment to UConn. The 6'5" small forward chose the Huskies over North Carolina and others.

Page joins NaVorro Bowman Jr. in Dan Hurley's 2027 class. It's the first time UConn has had two five-stars in the same class in over two decades.

King Gibson announced his commitment to LSU.

The 6'4" guard chose the Tigers over a final list that included Providence, Arkansas and Louisville. He's the first recruit in the class of 2027 for Will Wade, who is likely looking to build a roster through a more traditional route next season.
