It's May 6 and LSU only has one publicly committed player on their roster.
You read that correctly, one publicly committed player. The depth chart is something to behold.

But fear not, Tiger fans. Wade sat down with CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein yesterday for a wide-ranging interview and shared that he has "seven or eight guys" on the roster. Wade said he is leaning very heavy into the international market and only plans on paying eight or nine players this season. The Tigers have been linked to Saliou Niang, Brice Dessert, Marcio Santos and Michael Ruzic, among others.
Wade brought on former Western Kentucky and Mississippi State head coach Rick Stansbury to head up his international scouting. Stansbury spent significant time overseas during the last year building connections and was lined up to join Wade's staff no matter where he was coaching this season. The decision to go international for a majority of the roster is a pivot from Wade's previous roster builds and will surely be looked at as a case study this season.
Notable commitments: Christian Harmon (Arkansas State) to Virginia | Trevon Carter-Givens (former NC State commit) to Creighton | Peteris Pinnis (Providence) to Oregon State | Khaman Maker (DePaul) to Marshall |
