Near Presidents' Day, I released the first 2025-26 edition of The All-Arthur Team, a project to construct the best possible team in college basketball this season. The story marked the revival of a series initially developed by Heat Check CBB's Andrew Dieckhoff, in which stat thresholds were used to identify the top college player in 12 unique categories.
After seven more weeks of basketball were played, I feel enough has changed in each category to warrant updates. Here is your official ™ 2025-26 All-Arthur Team.
No. 1: THE MAIN ATTRACTION
Efficient scorers with high usage
Requirements: >75% minutes played this season, >30% usage, >110 offensive rating

Cameron Boozer remained on top of this category, holding strong with an outstanding offensive rating of 131.4.
Behind him on the leaderboard, there is a minor change. In the latest round of Big Ten-SEC beef, the Midwest won this one, as Wisconsin's Nick Boyd kicked Josh Hubbard off the list.
No. 2: THE HIGHLIGHT REEL
A one-man show
Requirements: >30 dunks, >30 made 3s, >30% 3PT

Not much changed here besides the order of players. All five names remain on top, with AJ Dybantsa claiming the "Highlight Reel" moniker due to Boozer's previous award.
No. 3: THE SURGEON
True multi-level scorers
Requirements: >40% 3PT, >45% far 2PT, >65% close 2PT, >70% FT (minimum 60 attempts for each)

Our first serious movement!
Bennett Stirtz's 3PT% fell to 35.8, disqualifying him from "Surgeon" contention. Replacing him is none other than Ohio State star Bruce Thornton, who sneaks in as an even 40% three-point shooter.
Behind the Buckeye sits yet another Big Ten player, as UCLA big man Tyler Bilodeau took just enough shots at the rim (67) to qualify. Two mid-major players line up behind him, as Chattanooga's Jordan Frison joins Jaiden Feroah on the leaderboard.
No. 4: THE FLOOR GENERAL
Offensive maestros who don't leave the floor
Requirements: >75% minutes played, >25% AST, <13% TO

Stirtz also loses his grasp on this award, as his AST% fell just one-tenth below the 25% requirement. Star freshman Darius Acuff Jr. cleared all three thresholds with ease.
Elsewhere on the leaderboard, some mid-major representation crept into the "Floor General" conversation as San Jose State's Colby Garland entered at No. 4.
No. 5: THE CUTPURSE
Keep a tight handle around them
Requirements: >300 minutes played, >5% STL, <5.0 fouls committed/40

Duke Miles retains this award, although his steal percentage barely survived the 5% threshold.
In what's become a common theme, mid-majors took the runner-up spots here, as Tyler Cochran and TJ Burch held strong on the leaderboard.
No. 6: THE BRICK WALL
Don't attack their rim
Requirements: >12% BLK, >4.0 defensive box plus-minus, <4.5 fouls committed/40

Similar to the "Cutpurse", we have mostly the same players on this list, but with a major swap at the top.
Aday Mara stole this award from under Kyle Evans' nose, as the UC Irvine big man became ineligible due to an 11.8 BLK%. Mara's also regressed in a couple of these stats, but he still qualifies as the All-Arthur Team's "Brick Wall".
No. 7: THE JUNKYARD DOG
Grit with a nose for the ball
Requirements: >600 minutes played, >14% OREB, >28% DREB

No changes here. I'm glad.
Rueben Chinyelu separated from the rest of the nation just to qualify for the "Junkyard Dog" category, and he did so with ease. He didn't wind up clearing the 18% and 31% thresholds I set in February, but he did become the eighth player in Torvik history to record an OREB% > 17 and a DREB% > 30 in the same season. Congratulations, Rueben.
No. 8: THE ARTILLERY GUNNER
Shooting threes at high volume
Requirements: >50 made 3s, >11 3PA/100 possessions, >45% 3PT

Another new leader! Texas Tech's Donovan Atwell unseated Milan Momcilovic at the top of the "Artillery Gunner" leaderboard, relying on his all-around game to post a higher PRPG!. Atwell qualified via raising his hit rate from deep to 45.8%.
Momcilovic slotted in at No. 2, and behind him now sits Liberty's Brett Decker Jr..
No. 9: THE INFANTRY GUNNER
Getting to the charity stripe is second nature
Requirements: >50.0 free throw rate, >100 made FT, >80% FT

The Big Ten continues to have a major presence on the finalized All-Arthur Team, as Jeremy Fears Jr. climbed up to become our "Infantry Gunner".
Love him or hate him, the Spartan did an outstanding job at getting to the line this season and converting, shooting 88.5% from the charity stripe on 208 attempts. Those marks helped him beat out fellow Big Ten player Cade Tyson, who rose to No. 2. Elsewhere on the list, Keyshawn Hall fell to No. 3 and Dior Johnson entered at No. 4.
No. 10: THE SWISS ARMY KNIFE
A true jack of all trades
Requirements: >110 offensive rating, >20% usage, >5% OREB, >15% DREB, >10% AST, <20% TO, >2% BLK, >2% STL, >50% 2PT, >30% 3PT, >70% FT

Our eclectic "Swiss Army Knife" list underwent a corporate rebrand.
The high-major overlords swallowed up four of the five spots on this leaderboard, led by Boozer and a new No. 1: Yaxel Lendeborg. The Michigan star got in with a 20.5% usage rate and an absurd 137.5 offensive rating, which are flanked by nine other stats.
No. 11: THE UNICORN
Blocks + assists + threes: a rare trio
Requirements: >50% minutes played, >5% BLK, >10% AST, >20 made 3s, >35% 3PT

This list of five players has seen a small makeover, but Santa Clara's Allen Graves hung onto the top spot. An even 5% block rate almost got the Bronco disqualified, but he rejected just enough looks to stay afloat.
Behind Graves, West Virginia's Brenen Lorient entered at No. 2 while Thomas Batties II stayed at No. 3.
No. 12: THE SECRET WEAPON
Future college stars
Requirements: >20 GP, <50% minutes played, >20% usage, >110 offensive rating, >60% TS, <20% TO

In a razor-tight race (No. 1 and No. 3 were separated by just 0.3 PRPG!), KeShawn Murphy became our new "Secret Weapon". The Tiger qualified after seeing a slight dip in playing time over the last few weeks; in this case, that worked to his advantage.
Elsewhere, the lone holdover in this category from February was Georgetown's Julius Halaifonua, who fell from No. 3 to No. 4.
