The Randy Bennett era at Arizona State is off to a good start on the recruiting trail.

The Sun Devils landed 2027 four-star forward Carson Crawford on Wednesday. Crawford picked Arizona State over a top-five group of Ole Miss, Syracuse, Providence, and Florida State.

The 6'6" forward from Orange Park, FL helped lead the Florida Rebels to the Peach Jam title on the Nike EYBL circuit, averaging 7.9 points and 8.1 rebounds.

247Sports' Adam Finkelstein says, "Crawford is a high-level athlete who runs, jumps, and can hang in mid-air. He has a fairly wiry build but big shoulders, deceptive physicality, and balance through contact. He also possesses excellent wing size and solid length, which allows him to double as a hybrid four in more up-tempo, small-ball lineups. He’s an effective two-way rebounder who utilizes his athleticism to fly at the glass on both ends of the floor."

Crawford is the first high school player to commit to Randy Bennett at Arizona State and the highest-rated player Bennett has landed since 2007.
