In a normal college basketball offseason, September is when we start diving into what teams will look like on the floor, with the season just two months away. Of course, the sport's current craziness has made that challenging.
But to block out the moving pieces and constant eligibility and ineligibility, we're trucking on ahead and thinking about the on-court product anyway.
In the portal era, it's become increasingly harder to get a roster that fits together well. It's easy to grade individual or team talent, but to project what that talent looks like when sharing the floor can be even more critical.
With that in mind, we'll break down three rosters that make sense together: an all-around group, an offensive group, and a defensive group.
