Houston and Ohio State both landed four-star commitments in the class of 2027 on Thursday.

Jake Diebler is on the board for 2027, bringing in top-20 forward Deng Ngor.

You can read Sam Kayser's breakdown on Ngor's commitment for Basket Under Review here.

Meanwhile, Kelvin Sampson brought in his fourth commitment of the class with top-100 forward Triston Hawthorne.

Hawthorne chose the Cougars over LSU, Harvard, Providence, Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

As if you needed any hints about Hawthorne's game, here's 247Sports' Adam Finkelstein's scouting report:

Hawthorne is an elite athlete with staggering length and one of the best defensive prospects in the national class. He’s not just extremely bouncy, but a fluid mover who sprints the floor with long strides, can really cover the court, and also a massive 7-foot-2 wingspan. He averaged a whopping 4.3 blocks per game in Pro16 play and had the versatility to protect the rim in a variety of different situations – on and off the ball, in transition, contesting shooters, and especially recovering from behind.
