On a relatively sleepy night in college hoops, a Cinderella still found its slipper.

South Dakota State went into Bramlage Coliseum and took down Kansas State, making Casey Alexander wait a little bit longer for his first win as a Wildcat.

The Jackrabbits raced out to an 11-point lead in the first half, but that lead evaporated quickly in the early minutes of the second. Kansas State went on a 10-0 run and held a 7-point lead at the under-12 timeout. From there, South Dakota State clawed back, with Davis Kern scoring 10 points in the last 6 minutes to seal the win.

Kern was tremendous in his collegiate debut, finishing with 24 points and 8 rebounds in 37 minutes. Kalen Gerry and Jon Mekonnen each added 14 points for the Jackrabbits. Pape N'Diaye led K-State with 19 points and 8 rebounds.

South Dakota State is no stranger to beating high major opponents, but that's a huge foundational win for Bryan Peterson after a disappointing first season in Brookings.

Luke Murray picked up his first win as head coach in Boston College's 76-50 rout of Wagner.

Milan Momcilovic had 24 points (6-9 3P) in his official Kentucky debut - an 85-57 win over Manhattan.

Tennessee scored 56 points in the second half to outpace Wofford.

Jalen Shelley had 14 points and 12 rebounds in Texas A&M's win over Alabama State.

Saliou Niang (14pts, 14 rebs) and Donovan Dent (19pts, 10asts) each logged double-doubles in LSU's rout of LSU New Orleans.

North Florida flew cross-country to pick up a buy-game win over Cal Baptist.
