If you enjoyed this year's national title game, you're in luck because Michigan and UConn have agreed to run it back next season.
The two teams will meet on November 6 at TD Garden in Boston for a rematch of last season's finale according to a report from CBS Sports' Matt Norlander.
It's the 11th time in the last 30 seasons the two teams from the previous year's title game will meet and only the third time it'll happen in the first week of the following season. Coincidentally the last title game rematch also featured Michigan, when the Wolverines took on Villanova in 2018.
Both Michigan and UConn have scheduled aggressively for 2026-2027. UConn is slated to play Ohio State, Arizona, Duke, Illinois, Kansas and Virginia in addition to the Wolverines. Michigan has the Player's Era Festival, Marquette, Villanova and Duke on the docket.
More scheduling news!
