Milan Momcilovic, the best remaining player in the transfer portal, committed to Kentucky last night. The Iowa State transfer chose the Wildcats over Arizona and Louisville, cementing a huge recruiting win for Mark Pope.
The 6'8" forward is one of the most prolific three-point shooters in college basketball. He shot 48.7% on 279 attempts from three last season and is expected to be a focal point of Kentucky's offense in 2026-2027.
Momcilovic's NIL deal is estimated at around $6 million, according to a report by CBS Sports' Matt Norlander.
The college basketball season unofficially began yesterday, with several teams reporting to campus to start summer workouts.

Houston, in typical fashion, posted pictures and video of their first workout with heralded strength coach Alan Bishop. The Cougars are always among the most athletic teams in the country, and it starts with a summer regimen that would put most people on bed rest for a week.
St. Bonaventure gave us our first look at new head coach Mike MacDonald - not to be confused with that Michael McDonald. The former Daemen College legend takes over after a 19-year run from Mark Schmidt.
Marquette showed off their new transfers - that's right - transfers. The Golden Eagles landed Sananda Fru (Louisville) and Nolan Minessale (St. Thomas) from the portal this spring, marking a major philosophical change from the last two seasons.
Indiana flexed their portal haul with new additions Aiden Sherrell, Samet Yigitoglu, and Bryce Lindsay alongside returner Trent Sisley. The Hoosiers are considered one of the big winners of the spring and have NCAA Tournament expectations heading into year two of the Darien DeVries era.
The new season will be here before you know it, and preview season is right around the corner at Basket Under Review.
