Those who know Xzayvier Brown well know that he’s not an ideal target for a TV provider that wants to bog him down with subscriptions and add-ons. Brown isn’t interested in most of their promos. He really only needs live television for six months.

Brown doesn't watch much other than games. He’s been that way since he was a kid, bypassing cartoons for sports. He says it’s hard to leave practice these days because he knows there are no games for him to watch when he gets home. He often has to resort to watching old games on YouTube or Synergy.

At this stage of his life, Brown admits he fits the basketball junkie title “to the T” and doesn’t deny being a basketball nerd. He seems fascinated by the advancement of analytics in the game. He loves delving into basketball history. Now that he knows what he’s watching from a scheme perspective, he’s even more fascinated.

Even while Brown was young and still hadn’t shaken some of his basketball naivety, he still consumed whatever content he could. Looking back, he realizes some of what he consumed has come full circle.

Brown recalls considering Trae Young’s Oklahoma games "appointment television" on Saturdays at his grandmother’s house, has fond memories of Austin Reeves breaking out and becoming a star in 2020-21 and often starred as former Sooners’ star Blake Griffin on College Basketball 2K8.
