Nothing signifies the lead-in to a new season like a top 100 players list, so who are we to deny that tradition? The Weave is back with our list of the best players in the country, attempting to factor in ability, role and team quality.

Within the actual Top 100, we will include each person's individual ballot ranking and some handy dandy data from our friends at CBB Analytics. For the honorable mention portion of the proceedings, though, we're keeping it simple. Below are the 25 players who just missed the cut. You'll notice a couple of teams with multiple players - those are often squads where we struggled to rank players on a specific team/differed in our personal preferences.

A couple of important caveats: we excluded JT Toppin, the likely #1 player, due to uncertainty/skepticism on how much he will actually play this season. We also included Denzel Aberdeen with an asterisk, as he still needs a waiver to play this year (and he may or may not receive that...). International players and freshmen remain the toughest to rank.

Who'd we miss? Who doesn't deserve to be on the list below? Hop in the Discord and let us know what you think!
