It was a newsy day in high school recruiting.

Indiana landed a major commitment from five-star center Darius Wabbington. Wabbington ultimately chose the Hoosiers over Illinois and home-state Arizona.

247Sports Adam Finkelstein's scouting report: Wabbington is the most skilled big man in the national class. He has naturally soft hands and touch, is an excellent ball handler and passer (especially good lob thrower) and developing floor-spacing shooter. He's a wide body who has gradually improved his conditioning but could still better sculpt his frame. He has some sneaky agility but is never going to be naturally quick or athletic. However, he's continued to grow throughout his high school years and is now close to seven-feet with a long 7-foot-4 wingspan.

It's the second commitment of the cycle for Darian DeVries. Four-star sharpshooter Chase Branham picked Indiana last September and has climbed into the top-30 in the rankings since then.

Four-star forward King Rachal is headed to Utah State. Rachal chose the Aggies over San Diego State, Oregon and USC.

A relative unknown nationally before the spring, Rachal went from not having a 247Sports profile to ranked in the top 50 in a matter of just a few months thanks to his play on the Puma Pro16 Circuit with Team CPSA. He showed off deep range on this jumper, bouncy athleticism and the type of frame that will take off in a college weight room.

Four-star forward Davis Cochran committed to Auburn. Cochran picked the Tigers over a final list that included Vanderbilt, Cincinnati, Clemson, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Virginia, Kansas State and Notre Dame.

He’s already athletic at the rim with timing, soft hands, and long arms. Physically though, his frame is naturally solid, but largely undeveloped, and could really blossom inside a college weight room. If that unlocks more physicality and even increased explosiveness, particularly though bodies, it takes his game to another level. He already shows real flashes as a secondary rim protector (1.2 blocks per game), and could potentially continue to emerge in that area as well.

Cochran is the second player in the 2027 class for Steven Pearl, who added Jason Gardner Jr. last month.
