Transfer portal season continues to grow more chaotic year after year.
As the season comes to a close, the portal window opens and players flood through it — some of them really good ones at that.

Of course, people are going to remember the big names, such as Olivia Miles to TCU, MiLaysia Fulwiley to LSU or Ta'Niya Latson to South Carolina.

But in the madness, it's easy to lose track of where some other players went.

While this list doesn’t cover every move, here are 15 notable players who found new homes this offseason.

Kierra Wheeler, Norfolk State –> West Virginia

Wheeler was on one of the most dominant mid-major teams last season, leading the Spartans to a 30-5 record, including wins over Auburn and Missouri.

The forward initially committed to Auburn, following her former head coach, Larry Vickers, from Norfolk State, before flipping to West Virginia.

She joins the Mountaineers after averaging 15.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. Wheeler also holds the career blocks record at Norfolk State with 162.

The forward is adding size and an ability to rebound to a Mountaineer team that struggled last season at times due to height.

Yuting Deng, Auburn –> Baylor

The college basketball world didn't get to see Deng for a full season in an Auburn uniform. She joined the Tigers midway through the season, appearing in just 12 games.

The guard averaged 11.8 points and 2.5 rebounds per game, and recorded a career-high 27 points. Despite her short stint in the conference, she was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team.

Deng committed to Baylor, following her former head coach, Johnnie Harris, who is now on the Bears’ staff as an associate head coach.

The guard gives Nicki Collen a steady shooting threat. Deng is also young and has a high upside, giving this Bears staff a chance to mold her into a great player.

Last-Tear Poa, LSU –> Arizona State

Poa was primarily a bench player for the Tigers, but was part of the national championship team that defeated Iowa in 2023.

She played in 30 games this past season and started 15 of them. Poa is known as a steady facilitator and solid on-ball defender.

The guard joins new head coach Molly Miller in her first season at the helm of Arizona State.

Poa brings the Sun Devils veteran leadership. It's something that they'll need as a team with new pieces as they look to mesh together.

Madina Okot, Mississippi State –> South Carolina

People remember Ta'Niya Latson making the move to Columbia, but Okot did as well.

The 6-foot-6 center averaged 11.3 points and 9.6 rebounds this past season. She recorded a career-high 23 rebounds in her junior year.

Okot has navigated the SEC before and will be able to take that experience with her to South Carolina.

She'll have the ability to start immediately, as Staley was in need of a true center. Okot got the nod in the Gamecocks exhibition, and finished with 17 points and 15 rebounds.

Alli Campbell, Penn State –> Fairfield

Campbell is making the jump from the Big 10 to the MAAC, joining Fairfield, one of the best mid-major programs over the past two years.

Last season at Penn State, the guard recorded 211 points, 106 rebounds and 114 assists — the fourth most assists in the Big 10.

Campbell has battled some injuries throughout her collegiate career, but if she can stay healthy, she'll be a major addition for the Stags.

She'll bring Big 10 experience and the ability to distribute the ball, averaging 4.4 assists last season. Campbell knocked down 39.4% from three two season ago, and if she can get that number back up, she'll be a threat from deep.

Marta Suarez, Cal –> TCU

Suarez is another transfer who might be overshadowed by the Olivia Miles headline.

The forward started every game for the Golden Bears last season, averaging 12.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.

Standing 6-foot-3, Suarez adds size and versatility to a Horned Frogs roster that is already one of the tallest in the country.

Not only does Suarez have size, but she's continued to expand her range throughout her collegiate career.

Iyana Moore, Vanderbilt –> Notre Dame

Moore is a capable scorer who spent years starting in the SEC.

She averaged 12.4 points last season, and in her junior year, recorded a career-high 37 points.

With the departure of multiple pieces on last year's Irish team, Moore could be someone head coach Niele Ivey looks to start alongside Hannah Hidalgo.

The guard has years of starter experience and can shoot well from deep, averaging 34.4% from 3-point range last season.

Kaitlin Peterson, UCF –> Ole Miss

Peterson was one of many additions brought in through the transfer portal, and she knows how to score.

Last season, she averaged 21.4 points per game and recorded over 1,000 career points as a Knight in just two seasons.

Cotie McMahon was arguably the biggest name added to the Rebels’ roster, but Peterson could make just as big an impact.

Peterson has the opportunity to be Ole Miss' best pure scorer with four years of college basketball under her belt.

Nya Robertson, SMU –> Tennessee

There were only two games last season that Robertson didn't score in double figures.

The guard averaged 18.5 points per contest.

She has the ability to score from outside, but most of her work is done from inside the arc.

Robertson should be a good fit in Kim Caldwell's offense, as the coach is looking for her team to play inside-out this season, a contrast to last year’s perimeter-heavy approach.

Oluchi Okananwa, Duke –> Maryland

Okananwa was a key piece in Duke's run to the Elite Eight last season.

The guard averaged 10.1 points and 5.3 rebounds during the NCAA Tournament.

She was highly sought after by numerous programs, but after landing Okananwa, Maryland head coach Brenda Frese described her as “the final piece to a very special team.”

Okananwa has already proven herself in Maryland's exhibition against NC State, putting up 21 points and seven rebounds in her first start.

Josie Gilvin, Western Kentucky –> Kentucky

Gilvin is another mid-major transfer looking to make an impact at the Power Four level.

The guard averaged 13.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in 32 starts at WKU. She also recorded the fifth-most steals in Conference USA last season.

Kenny Brooks is looking to replace a good bit of production, and Gilvin will look to be an answer.

She provides size at the guard spot, standing at 6-foot, and will pair well alongside Georgia Tech transfer Tonie Morgan.

Kara Dunn, Georgia Tech –> USC

After the departure of Nell Fortner, Dunn decided to enter the transfer portal and ultimately landed at Southern Cal.

JuJu Watkins has been ruled out for the upcoming season while recovering from a torn ACL, and while Dunn can't fully replace what Watkins does, she'll help.

Dunn averaged 15.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game last season for the Yellow Jackets.

The guard will be able to bring veteran experience alongside freshman standout Jazzy Davidson.

Kiki Smith, Arkansas –> Purdue

Smith joins the Boilermakers after a coaching change at Arkansas.

She'll be able to provide a shooting ability that Purdue has been in need of.

The guard averaged 10.1 points per game while shooting 40.6% from 3-point range — the 28th-best mark in the nation last year.

Smith also gives the Boilermakers her upperclassmen years as they're looking to turn things around.

Ta'Mia Scott, Middle Tennessee State –> Alabama

Rick Insell has developed MTSU into a great mid-major program that consistently churns out talent.

With the departures of Sarah Ashlee Barker and Aaliyah Nye, Alabama was in need of scoring, and it was able to land Scott.

She averaged 16.7 points 6.6 rebounds per game in her final season as a Blue Raider.

Scott has only continued to score more and more each season. Last year, she shot 35.9% from deep. She'll play a big role as Kristy Curry was in need of production replacement, starting in both exhibitions.

Evangelia Paulk, Wofford –> Iowa State

Iowa State was able to land the 2025 SoCon Player of the Year and SoCon Defensive Player of the Year in Paulk.

Paulk will serve as a massive depth piece for the Cyclones as they're looking to challenge for a Big 12 title.

She averaged 12.8 points, 8.9 rebounds and 3.3 steals per game last season at Wofford.

Not only does Paulk provide incredible depth, but her defense may be her best quality. She recorded a triple double last season which included 10 steals.
